How do influencers earn from Youtube ?

Influencers on YouTube can earn money through several different methods, such as:

Advertising revenue:

YouTube pays its creators a share of the advertising revenue that is generated from the ads shown on their videos. Creators need to monetise their videos to allow ads to play, and YouTube pays them a portion of the revenue based on factors such as the number of views and clicks the ads receive.

Sponsored content:

Influencers may also work with brands and companies to create sponsored content. These could be in the form of product reviews, tutorials, or simply incorporating a product or brand into their content. The influencer would receive payment from the brand for creating the content. Not that everyone does so but this is one of the ways of earning. Let's say if an influencer is recommending Canon over Sony or vice versa, it anyways does not make much of a difference as both are great brands.

Affiliate marketing:

Influencers may also use affiliate marketing to earn money. This involves including affiliate links in their video descriptions or promoting products in their content. If a viewer clicks on the link and makes a purchase, the influencer would receive a commission from the sale. If you are anyways going to add that particular product, it might as well help in the influencer at not additional cost from your side. As long as the influencer is not recommending something which is not worthwhile, it's all right.

Merchandise sales:

Influencers can also earn money through the sale of merchandise such as clothing, accessories, or other products related to their brand. They can use web platforms to create and sell their own merchandise. They even offer drop shipping.

Fan funding:

Some influencers use platforms like Patreon or Ko-fi to allow their viewers to support them directly through donations or subscriptions.

In order to be eligible to earn money on YouTube, creators must meet certain requirements, such as having at least 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time within the past 12 months. Additionally, YouTube has strict guidelines for what content can be monetized, and creators must comply with these guidelines to earn advertising revenue.
